LMAD & TPIR resuming production

The Price is Right will resume taping tomorrow w/ no audience for its forty-ninth season while sister show Let’s Make a Deal is accepting applications from Santa Clarita residents as reported yesterday for its twelfth season (read the article here & it also contains the link to the application if any Santa Clarita resident is interested).

With that said, there will be no Halloween special this year from either show due to the Pandemic.

Contestant of the Week for September 28-October 2, 2020

This is going to be a tough call, but Emil from Wheel of Fortune is your Contestant of the Week. His last name may NOT be de Leon, but he sure played like it was. It all began with a R1 PR and it brought his subtotal up to $14,382 cash & Wyoming to this point. Then, thanks to a $10K MW flip he nearly doubled his score w/ another $13,050. And then after a few hitches along the way over including an EXPRESS wipeout he eradicated this KING COBRA AND QUEEN BEE for three more grand to bump his total up to $34,432 cash & WY before even going to the Bonus Round. All of his picks were on the BR puzzle and he got out some CERAMIC MIXING BOWLS to bake a cake celebrating becoming the first $50K winner this season giving him a final total of $84,432 cash & ski trip!

Honorable Mentions: Cindy on Friday’s WOF episode proved she was an excellent solver & had a 6-round game & a $38K BR win to show for it; Terah on Thursday’s episode also had a great night — Combine her maingame winnings, her BR win & the $ won by her opponents and you have a $100K+ grand total; Sarah may have won $31K but her episode was ugly; Mason went on a 2-day $42,600 run on Jeopardy!; Phillip is currently on a 2-day $43,000 run on Jeopardy!.
